I’m a technologist in AI+Society research
and an aspiring winemaker
In tech, Emmanuel is a research engineer focused on society-centered AI and impact-driven research. His interests include all things responsible AI, causality, systems thinking, and social good, with expertise in NLP/LLMs and RL. He is also a seasoned manager and engineer in data, reliability and product functions, with interests in large-scale systems, digital public infrastructure, and all tech in the public interest.
Outside tech, Emmanuel is an aspiring winemaker currently gaining experience through harvest and cellar internships. His evolving philosophy touches on minimal intervention, terroir and varietal expression, blending, and helping mother nature out using sustainable viticultural and winemaking practices.
Emmanuel studied Computer Science and minored in Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing a certificate in Winemaking at UC Davis.
